2.1. Ownership

Christian Dior Couture owns the domain name of the Website.

The Website as a whole, as well as the elements that it contains (in particular, texts, tree structures, software, animations, photographs, videos, illustrations, diagrams, graphic representations, logos, etc.) constitute intellectual works protected by articles L. 111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. They are the exclusive property of Christian Dior Couture, which alone is entitled to use said intellectual property rights as well as the related personality rights, trademarks, models, intellectual works, software, databases, interpretations, and images of persons, either as original property or by virtue of a license or an express authorization.

2.2. Sanctions

The use of all or part of the Website, in particular by downloading, reproduction, transmission, representation or broadcasting for purposes other than for the personal and private use of the Internet user for non-commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Violation of Christian Dior Couture's rights exposes its author to the penalties provided for both by the Intellectual Property Code, in particular for copyright infringement (Article L. 335-1 et seq.) and trademark infringement (Article L. 716-1 et seq.), and by the Civil Code in terms of civil liability (Article 9, Articles 1382 et seq.).

However, Christian Dior Couture shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfil or properly fulfil the contract attributable either to the client, a third party, or a case of force majeure as defined by Article 1218, paragraph 1 of the French Civil Code (Code Civil).

The French courts are territorially competent to hear any dispute relating to the use of the Website, except for provisions to the contrary arising from Regulation No. 44/2001 of 20 December 2000 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (Brussels I).
